Administration

Dr. Young joined RES in July 2022 with 24 years of experience in education across three different school districts -- 12 as a teacher and 12 as an administrator. She was recently a Special Education Supervisor/Vice Principal at the Chester County Intermediate Unit Child and Career Development Center, where she led curriculum development, school safety, and learning support, emotional support and autistic support programs. She began her career as an elementary resource teacher in Tucson, AZ in 1998, after graduating from the University of Arizona. She earned her Doctor of Education from Drexel in 2020. 

Mr. Wagner joined RTSD in August 2022 with 17 years of elementary classroom experience, the last seven as a 4th-grade teacher at Chadds Ford Elementary School in Unionville-Chadds Ford School District. Prior to his time in UCFSD, Mr. Wagner worked in Coatesville Area School District for 10 years, where he was a math coach and a 4th-grade teacher. While in Coatesville, Mr. Wagner was a finalist for the Citadel Heart of Learning award. Mr. Wagner earned a Batchelor of Science in Education from West Chester University in 2004 and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University in 2010.
