Dr. Young joined RES in July 2022 with 24 years of experience in education across three different school districts -- 12 as a teacher and 12 as an administrator. She was recently a Special Education Supervisor/Vice Principal at the Chester County Intermediate Unit Child and Career Development Center, where she led curriculum development, school safety, and learning support, emotional support and autistic support programs. She began her career as an elementary resource teacher in Tucson, AZ in 1998, after graduating from the University of Arizona. She earned her Doctor of Education from Drexel in 2020.
